Immediately after your treatment, redness and bumps at the treatment area are common; these may last up to 2 hours or longer. It is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for a few hours. Do not use cold compress as sensation may persist longer.
Darker pigmented skin may have more discomfort than lighter skin and may persist longer.
If there is any crusting, apply an antibiotic cream.
Keep the treated area clean and dry. When washing the area be very gentle and use unscented soap recommended for sensitive skin or babies.
No makeup, lotio, moisturizer or deodorant should be used on the treated area for the first 24 hours. If further redness or irritation persists, skip your makeup, moisturizer or deodorant until the irritation has subsided.
Do not exposed freshly treated skin to direct sunlight for at least 3 days.
Use sunscreen (spf 25 or higher) at all times throughout the treatment period for 1-2 months following treatment.
Discontinue sunbed use and self tanning products.
Do not wax or tweeze treatment sites between hair removal treatments. Shave when needed.
Avoid extremely hot baths, whirlpools, saunas, or heavily chlorinated swimming pools for 24-48 hours subsequent to treatments.
Avoid vigorous exercise for 12 – 24 hours subsequent to treatments.
